Monday Mantra: 5/8/17

Good morning all! Can you believe it is the second Monday in May? Time seems to be going so fast lately. Maybe I’ve just been putting too much focus on it?

For those of you have been keeping up on my blog, first I want to thank you. And secondly, I want to give you a brief update on how my first month at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts went. For those of you just popping in, I started this journey in April, after many years of wanting to actually go for it.

I currently have an A in both of my classes, and this is the final week of class. I have way more assignments to do this week, than I have the last few weeks. I enjoyed these classes, but I am ready for them to be over. I am so excited to start the next two! One of them requires a Doreen Virtue book, as the textbook for the class. And you all know that I LOVE Doreen. I am so stoked!

But having all this going on has led me to feel a little more anxious than I have in some time. I don’t even feel like this is too much to handle, but for some reason, I let my thoughts run away with me, and I feel unable to relax. Which leads us to today’s Monday Mantra:

Today, I invite you (and myself) to release your fears to the divine. This kind of goes along with the message Archangel Michael wished for me to share in yesterday’s card reading.

When we spend too much time worrying, or allowing anxiety to rule our minds/bodies, then we cannot spend enough time doing the things we enjoy, and essentially creating the life we want.

It is important to remember that the universe does whatever you tell it. If you spend too much time worrying about something happening, doubting your abilities, or focusing on the negative things around you, the universe will assist you by attracting more of that to you.

Try to release your fears. Ask Archangel Michael to help you with this. Then allow yourself to picture the positive outcome that you wish for. Celebrate this future accomplishment in your mind. End the exercise by announcing (silently or aloud) that you trust in the flow of life, and you know that the universe is working for your highest good.

Journal Questions

  1. What have you been worrying about lately, and how does it make your physical or etheric body feel?
  2. What will it take for you to let these fears/negative thoughts go?
  3. How did it feel to hold positive thoughts about your future, and celebrate your future accomplishments? How can you hold onto that energy throughout your day?
