Card Reading: 5/14 – 5/20

Happy Mother’s Day! Today I decided to go with the Healing with the Fairies Oracle Card Deck from Doreen Virtue. I hope you enjoy!

The Spread


The Cards

  1. Raising Your Standards – “Don’t settle for less than your dreams. Once you make the commitment to manifest an improved situation, the Universe will find a way to deliver it to you.
  2. Body Movement – “Your body wants to express itself through movement. Listen to your body, and it will tell you what type of movement it craves.”
  3. Visualization – “Your clairvoyance, your dreams, and the pictures in your mind’s eye are becoming more clear and powerful. This card asks you to trust and to develop your visual skills, and to use them in conscious manifestation.”


I began this reading by asking the Fairies what message they wanted to share with all of us. The Fairies are known for helping us with the things we want or need. For example, fairies can help us bring in more money, enhance our health/relationships, etc. So it is no surprise to me that they gave us this message today.

It is clear to me that we must truly define what we want, no matter how simple it may seem to us. Instead of using phrases like, “I could never afford that,” or “I will never get there,” try, Raising Your Standards and say, “I hold high standards for myself. I deserve the best life has to offer.” This will attract more of the energy you want, as opposed to the energy you don’t.

The next card, Body Movement, spoke to me a lot. I have been really feeling the need to get back into yoga. I think it will make me feel all around better, and relieve much of the anxiety I have been feeling lately. I feel if I were to feel less anxious, I would be better able to manifest the things I want.

Which is where Visualization comes in. With a clear head, high standards, comfortable body, we are able to visual the outcomes we desire. It is vital that we always hold positive thoughts about what we want so that it manifests in a way that is in alignment with our highest good.

Recommended Action

Spend some time this week, being with yourself, and listening to your body. What type of movement is your body longing for? What will help you clear your mind, and free yourself from any negative thoughts or anxiety?

Think about where you are cutting yourself short. How can you adjust your thoughts so that they match what will serve you?

At some point during the week, perhaps after the first two steps, sit quietly, and imagine the positive outcomes/manifestations that you are longing for. Maybe do this outside, where the Fairies presence may be felt. Let them know what you want to create, and they will help you.
