Meditation can be such an enlightening experience. Every time I meditate, I come out of the experience with something. I have cured pains in my body, and spoken with angels in meditation. Recently, I was talking to my peers at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, and someone asked me to elaborate on an exercise I used for meditation. Thus birthing this post.
I was describing a time, recently, where I meditated on a tarot card. The woman asking about this, is new to reading cards, so she was very curious about how I did this. I was all too happy to teach someone about a meditation/card tip. So naturally I went into too much detail! And that is why I figured, if my peers want to know more about this, why wouldn’t my readers?
So, I have a tarot deck called, Tarot of the Spirit, by Pamela and Joyce Eakins. I conducted a full Celtic Cross spread for myself. The very first card I pulled matched exactly what I was feeling (as cards do!) so I knew immediately that I needed to do some work in this area. After interpreting the rest of the reading, I put the other cards in the spread back on top of the deck, and moved the deck to the side. I then took that very first card, and held it close to my heart. To my angels and guides, I said, “The purpose of this meditation is to understand how I am blocking myself in this area.” Then I laid down, and put the card next to my head.
Needless to say, I had an amazing experience, and heard from my angels! They spent a few moments with me, telling me what I needed to do to remove this blockage. Honestly, since that meditation – I think it was about two weeks ago – I do feel much better, and I think I am dissolving the issue. This exercise may seem simple, but I promise you that if you give it a go, you will NOT be disappointed.
