Know When to Rest

A message on self-love.

This week, I suffered from the most awful migraine I have ever had. I was in so much pain, I just felt like crying. I was nauseous and very clouded. I was trying to work through all of this, and was forgetting things at work.

I have posted before about how my body speaks to me. I believe this time, it was telling me to slow it down. You see, this week, I started planning for further advancements within my business. But I was getting so overwhelmed and I wasn’t really sure how to handle all of it. I think this migraine was my body and my higher self’s way of telling me to not get so ahead of myself.

The reason I am posting about this today, is to remind you that you do not have to take on more than you can chew. You do not have to force yourself through multiple projects, if you don’t want to. Even if there is something that you really want to do, if the time isn’t right, you will not enjoy yourself. Trust in divine timing and let your intuition be your guide. Love yourself more, and give yourself time to rest and rejuvenate. Don’t feel like you are putting something off out of fear or laziness. If you know it’s something you want to do someday, and you feel in your heart that you are meant to do it, it will find its way back to you.

So this weekend, take some time to evaluate your goals. Think about where you are and where you want to be. Remember that you are loved, and remember to love yourself, as well.

And so it is.
