Review of Marc Anthony’s Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter

Bring your hair back from the dead.

Hey hey. A few days ago I posted about my first ever Ipsy Glam Bag – read the post here. In it, I talked about the Marc Anthony Hydrating Oil that I received, and promised I would review it when I tried it. I am fulfilling that promise now. But please, remember to humor me. I am very new to writing reviews, so this will be a quickie. 😉

I really have enjoyed using this oil, and put it in my hair every day this weekend. Ipsy had suggested using it with a dry shampoo, to add some shine back into your hair, and that’s exactly what I did. I have been trying to wash my hair every 3 days or so, because I want it to stay stronger on the ends. Using this oil, with my Amika: Perk Up Dry Shampoo has been awesome.

This is one of the first hair oils that I have ever used that didn’t weigh my hair down. The oil is light, and not thick at all. And when you use it as recommended (only 1-3 drops) it definitely reaches its full potential. But everything else aside, my favorite part about this oil is it’s sweet coconut-y aroma. It smells sooooo good. I love it!

Check out my soft and smooth hair!

If you are looking for a good hair oil, I definitely recommend this one. The only complaint I have is that this sample is too small! But that’s the fun of Ipsy. 😉
