5 Things I Gained from Daily Meditation

Tonic for your soul.

So, if you have spent some time reading my posts, you will know that I recommend meditation for a lot of things. Meditation is really great and can enhance your life in so many ways. I have been meditating for quite a few years now, but here is the catch: only two weeks ago did I start meditating daily. I know crazy, right?

Since I began practicing meditation daily, I have seen differences within myself that I feel are due to meditating. I wanted to share my experience and result with you, so that you can decide if daily meditation can help you (I think it can)!

Meditate in the morning.

I have found that I prefer meditating in the morning the best. This is because when you first wake up, the thoughts you are thinking really have an impact on how the rest of your day is going to go. Meditating as soon, or shortly after, you wake up will help you to set the vibe you want for your day.

I have been meditating differently almost every day. Sometimes I sit in my living room and listen to a new age radio station through my TV. I don’t always do this, though, because I haven’t paid for the premium station, so commercials come on. I don’t care for commercials as it is – so when they interrupt my vibe that irritates me even more.

I have found that YouTube is a great place to go for all kinds of different meditations. They have lots of guided meditations, which I tend to really enjoy. There is also a large selection of lengths to choose from. When you are just starting out meditating, I suggest you don’t do it for more than 5-10 minutes at a time. Your body needs to adjust to this new habit, so you want to start out on the shorter side. As you continue your daily practice, though, you can go longer and longer. It is also good to work your way up to meditating twice a day, which I still have not done a lot of yet. YouTube has a lot of great 5 minute meditations. Choose those first. ๐Ÿ™‚

Sometimes I like to put my mini selenite wand on my head, when meditating. It really helps to open up the crown chakra and allows the energies to flow better. I also like to use sage, incense, or a room clearing spray before/while meditating. These things are not necessary for you to reach a good state of meditation, although they do help the process along. It kind of doesn’t feel right to me to meditate without some type of aroma surrounding me. But again, it is all preference.

Now that we have gone over a few basics, let’s take a look at the 5 things I gained from meditating daily:

1. Enhanced Intuition/Connection with Spirit.

Crazy things have been happening to me this week! I feel that this is partially due to the Event that is coming, as well as Ascension into the 5D being activated. But here is the thing: if I did not start meditating daily two weeks ago, when I did, would I be vibing with these new energies as well as I am?

I can literally feel when Spirit is flowing through me, helping me to write blog posts and providing amazing card readings for myself, my family and my clients. Not to mention, my intuition has been ON POINT with a lot of other little things that aren’t so wild. I have also had that thing where when I think of someone I haven’t talked to in a while, they reach out to me. I love when I think of someone and then they contact me! This has been a great time!

2. Higher Self Migration.

With the Event and the shifts coming, I have heard that we will be connecting with our Higher Selves more strongly than ever before. I read that if you suddenly get overwhelmingly hot, for no apparent reason, that this is because your Higher Self is near. I know that meditating is helping me become closer to my Higher Self. I have been getting crazy hot flashes a lot! Last night I woke up all throughout the night feeling very hot. I am not a person who complains about being hot, often. I am always the one saying, “It’s cold!” So, I know this is something big. I plan on doing more guided meditations for connecting with the Higher Self so that I can experiment with this union more – and of course, share my findings with you!

3. Less Stress.

I know it may sound a little cliche, but seriously. Let me be honest with you, I skipped meditating for a day or two after meditating every day for a week. Okay, those two days, my entire mood changed. I was moody, I was stressed, I was kind of angry, but didn’t really know why. Then I realized that I didn’t meditate. I thought back over the past week, when Iย wasย meditating daily, and I realized my anxiety was so much lower than it is when I am not meditating. I really didn’t notice how stressed I can get until meditating daily!

Lots of people say it helps reduce stress and anxiety and I am here to tell you that, yes, it does. Which leads me to my next point…

4. Positive Outlook.

Okay, so I am a very positive person. I do not like complaining. I do not like to dwell on the negative. Meditating helps me to release any fears or anxieties that are showing up in my thoughts. I found that meditating daily helps me to reset my mind and stop dwelling on things that I shouldn’t be dwelling on. Like I said, I consider myself a very positive person. But as a human, it can be hard to not dwell on things and over analyze things. With daily meditation, I have noticed that I go with the flow even better than I thought I was, and I can recognize and replace negative thoughts much faster than before.

If you get stuck in negative thinking patterns, I promise daily meditation will help you. This is because you will be doing the things I mentioned at the beginning of this list. You will be connecting with your Higher Self and Spirit, and you will experience your enhanced intuition. These things will make it possible for you to rid yourself of negativity. And this will help you reduce stress and anxiety. See how it all goes hand-in-hand?

5. Adjustment of My Vibration.

Think of the first four points on this list. You saw how it all goes together? Well, this is important because when all of those things happen, you are adjusting your vibes.ย I have found that practicing daily meditation is helping me to change the patterns that have been in my system for years. It is helping me to change my ingrained beliefs, so that I may truly manifest the things I desire. I feel that I am attracting more people with my new energy. I have spoken to so many people about the work that I do over the last two weeks, that it astounds me. I have never spoken to so many people in person about what I do. It is a great feeling to know that people are interested in the services that I provide, and it is great to know that my vibration is what is attracting them.

If you are trying to reset ingrained beliefs and truly start living the life you have dreamed of, please meditate daily. It only gets better and better every day once you start. I am excited to see where I can get myself through this practice, too, honestly.

What do you think?

Do you currently practice daily meditation? If so, what have you gained from your experiences? If you are new to meditation, do you have any further questions for me?

I hope you enjoyed this post!

With love and light,

  1. I feel that my anger has lead me lately I can’t seem to figure out why. I recently took another look at managing my chakra and I feel that’s the key. I remember not so long ago when I was more at peace with everything, I would write a poem about something and later that day, I would see the subject of the poem physically appear in my day somehow. I think I’m blocking my own energy with my anger and I hope learning to meditate will help. Thanks for this post, Morgan.

    1. Yes! The chakras play such a huge role in our well-being. I am going to be writing more about chakras in the next few weeks too. I am loving these synchronicities! But yes definitely get into meditation and find some meditations for chakra balancing. This will help you get your vibe and energy back.
